A packing list is an important document that generates after completing a pack of a PO or lot. Packing list, data which shows how many packed, carton quantity. Generally, the packing list generates by the packing staff (supervisor or In-charge) or merchandiser. The company general Manager(GM) sign in the packing list and check the ship quantity after completion of the packing list. Almost all companies make packing lists in Microsoft excel, some of them in ERP software or other software. Without a Packing list, a final quality audit cannot be started. The packing list needs to submit QC inspection for final Audit purpose, also needs of commercial departments as packing list also needs in export documents. Buyer QC verifies the packing list first before the quality inspection. So the packing list is a very important document for the garment industry. Commercial invoice and packing invoice generate seeing packing list.
