TNA- Time and Action Plan in Apparel

T&A or TNA is a Time and action calendar plan, a project management tool for Garments merchandiser and production team, the process involved from receiving an order to delivery to the customer. It’s setting a time calendar to execute the whole export order starting to closing. Generally, TNA makes in a spreadsheet (excel) by merchandiser, like a merchandiser work planning sheet. This planning sheet is called the time and action (TNA) calendar. Time and action plan (TNA) is very much important for the apparel industry. TNA can be reviewed in PP meeting and Pilot Run meeting to see specific work calendar for every style up to Final Audit.

Factors of TNA in Garments Manufacturing

These factors are key to making TNA in the apparel industry, merchandisers have to complete their tasks as per Time and action plan schedule.

2.      Received master L/C from Buyer
3.      Getting invoices (PI) from fabric, accessories, and other suppliers
4.      Opening B/B L/C to fabric supplier
5.      Opening B/B L/C to thread supplier
6.      Opening B/B L/C to accessories supplier
7.      Submitting photo sample to buyer.
8.      Getting a sample from a buyer on photo sample
9.      Getting sample yardage from the fabric supplier.
10.  Getting a sample of fabric, trims, and accessories.
11.  Submitting fit sample to buyer.
12.  Getting comments on a fit sample from buyer.
13.  Submitting size set sample to buyer.
14.  Fabric Ex-Mill.
15.  Submitting PP sample to buyer.
16.  Getting approval on PP sample from buyer.
17.  In-house of bulk thread and other accessories.
18.  In-house of fabric on the store on Garment Factory
19.  Starting pilot production.
20.  Buying house QC will give comments regarding quality.
21.  Going for bulk production.
22. In-house of finishing accessories.
23. In-line inspection by buying house QC and comment on quality.
24.  Start finishing of garments.
25.  Submitting production sample to buyer.
26.  In-house of a cartoon.
27.  Starting cartooning & assorting finished garments.
28.  Going for making shipping documents & booking vessel.
29.  Stitching will be complete.
30.  Finishing of garments will be complete.
31.  Final inspection Date.
32.  Loading of Truck. / EX factory.
33.  Shipments of goods.
34.  Submitting shipment confirmation documents to buyer.
