Auto Loop Making with Video

There are various kinds of loops used in pants, trouser, shorts, skirts etc. Mainly four types of loops are widely used in denim, knit or woven products. They are: Flat lock/normal, single needle lock stitch/clean finish, single needle lock stitch/normal,  single needle chain stitch/normal. It varies with buyer requirement, product type, fabric type, designer requirement or customer requirement.

Types of Loop use in Garments(Pant) Sewing

Flat lock/normal loop making includes several steps in sewing. First loop fabric is cutting in piping cut m/c as roll or it may be cut angular in cutting as per grain line structure. Suppose there is small cut pieces. Then they need to attach together using 3TH/OL or 4TH/OL m/c. Then edge need to neaten using vertical cutter or needle less edge cutter or no thread OL m/c. This m/c can be run without any operator using sensor mechanism. After that it comes making of loop. Normally an operator do this work using a flat lock machine. In this automation process, simply there used combination of folder for loop making with sensor mechanism. With presence of fabric m/c will run & when it is finished m/c will start automatically. This is really cost effective & an operator from any other process only need to feed the m/c after  a certain time. Easily it is possible to do manpower optimization.

There are two boxes kept both side of m/c for proper path making. Cut panel easily go into m/c followed by an inclined path attached to box to avoid rolling of fabric. Another box is set after loop making for proper collection. These kind of small & continuous changes can bring gradual improvement in RMG sector of Bangladesh.
