Garments Quality team are who
work to control quality and responsible for Quality control and Quality
assurance. Garments QC team like “police” of apparel industry; they are
authorized to stop production any time if quality falls significantly. Quality
department job designation has quality inspector to Quality GM. Garments
quality depend on quality team accurate job duty. Quality control is not an easy job in the apparel
industry. Garments quality department familiar with garment construction, specifications, workmanship, manufacturing process flows. Extensive background in sample evaluation, Checking, and follow-up. Have knowledge in quality control process from development stage to finished products.
Duties and Responsibilities
of Garments Quality Team
1. Quality control through inspection process throughout the factory manufacturing process
2. Able to correspondence with buyer any technical, approval, information or approval issue or any other required issue.
3. Always aiming for the latest technology for the highest quality, Effective follow-up, coordination, and liaison with the buyer-sample department-merchandiser- factories.
4. Follow buyer’s requirements very sincerely and follow their comments to make a good garment. Always try to make the buyer happy by following their rules & regulation.
5. Easy for understanding sample status we make a workbook for buyers.
6. All types of samples are good monitoring & requirement wise send to buyer for approval.
7. Work on Product development according to the buyer’s instruction.
8. Work with production teams to develop process flows and helped troubleshoot problems
9. Make sure to send sample according to buyer requirement & personally check the sample fitting with related mannequin before dispatch to buying office/customer.
10. Implement various types of inspection to ensure quality standards and all technical specification is followed.
11. Able to Check block patterns about customers provide the correction.
12. Able to support technical team & quality team re grading technical issues.
13. Attend buyer meetings Educate operators about technical and buyer standards.
14. Check the shrinkage before bulk cutting accordingly adjusts the pattern.
15. Check print, Embroidery with approval swatch, and give approval.
16. Check the accessories. With approved trim, file wise and give approval.
17. Check the fabric lot with buyer approval swatch.
18. Make sure all process quality control from style layout start period.
19. Performing PP meeting style & order wise.
20. Check factory in-house quality procedure and advice to follow our required criteria.
21. Check the pattern before cutting if found ok then give permission for trial cutting.
22. Perform Pre-final and final inspection.
23. Work with merchandising team & coordinate with buyer and supplier.
24. Follow up on all kinds of customer-required garments tests.
25. Follow up on a quality system of daily production and report to the office.
26. Check trial quantity output & give performance report if it ok then offer to buy QC check & take permission for bulk.
27. Check inline production garments process-wise and make a minimum of 3 inline reports per style.
28. Check initial finishing garments and give approval garments for finishing standards.
29. Able to follow up Q.C. in a floor overall cutting, sewing & finishing.
30. Keeping outgoing defects percentage in minimum level.
